Matthijs de Heus (1969), received the B.Sc. degree in Technical Business Administration in 1994 from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, The Netherlands. From 1994 – 2000 he was employed by VA Tech Elin Holec High Voltage B.V. and responsible as Project Manager for the construction of multiple Turn Key 150kV GIS substation projects in Indonesia and Middle East. Part of the projects where many 150kV oil pressurised and XLPE underground cable routes. From 2000 – 2006 Matthijs was employed by the Twentsche Kabel Fabriek (TKF) in The Netherlands as Sales Manager. The portfolio contained fiberoptic and copper telecommunications cables & systems and power cables including submarine projects. From 2007 – 2017 Matthijs was self employed as International Project Manager and involved in many Large Power (Transformer) substation & power generation projects in the USA, Southern Africa, Middle East and Europe. MV and HV cable connections where frequently part of the contract scope. Since July 2017 Matthijs de Heus is CEO of two Dutch based companies active in cable test & diagnostic equipment & services: Kabel Meet Techniek-Services B.V. (www.kmtservices.nl) & ON SITE HV SOLUTIONS Benelux B.V. (www.onsitehv.com) both companies located in Werkendam, The Netherlands and active onshore & offshore.
